MARCH 18, 2020

In keeping with the guidelines laid out by our parent organizations, the Arkansas-Louisiana Conference and North American Division, we will go to a strictly online broadcast for at least the rest of the month of March. We will reevaluate the circumstances of this very fluid situation regularly ensure we are meeting the needs of the congregation and community to the extent that we are able. At this time, we will:

  1. Begin Wednesday Night Bible study at 6:30pm. Only those who are assisting with the live stream need to be present. You may watch and interact with us through the stream. We will have a person assigned to watch for questions that might be posted so the moderator can answer them.
  2. Sabbath Worship services will be online only. Beginning at 10:00am, we will have a Sabbath School Discussion panel to discuss this week's quarterly lesson on Daniel. (LINK for the online Guide HERE). At 11:00am, we will have a Worship service with praise music, prayer, and Bible study. You are invited to join us through our church FACEBOOK page for all online streaming events.

We will continue to post updates as they become available. Stay safe!

MARCH 13, 2020

Springdale Adventist Fellowship will remain a place of hope and peace as the world faces the COVID-19 (coronavirus) pandemic. While there are no confirmed cases at the time of this release, we will be proactive in taking necessary precautions to stop the spread of this disease.   At this time, we are recommending the following:

  1. For Sabbath, March 14, 2020, we will only be having ONE service that begins at 11:00am. Sabbath School will be live streamed for the adults. There will be no children's programs at the church.
  2. If you are not comfortable participating in SAF worship at our facilities, our services will be available on our YouTube Channel and through Facebook Live. If you haven't already, you may subscribe to our YouTube channel, and LIKE us on Facebook to keep up with the most recent broadcast.
  3. If you are sick, have a mild fever, cough, runny nose, please avoid SAF worship services or church activities until you are fully recovered.
  4. We are encouraging that no handshaking take place at church. A fist bump or "casual nod" will be considered an acceptable greeting. Please don't consider us less loving because we may not have hugged you when you arrived.
  5. We encourage you to follow the recommendations from the CDC such as washing your hands for 20 seconds, covering coughs and sneezes, and cleaning and disinfecting frequently touched surfaces.
  6. Regarding tithes and offerings, please take advantage of our page on this site for giving, or, if you prefer, you may download the Adventist Giving App for your smart device. (Click Here of iOS) (Click Here for Android)
  7. As our community is moving rapidly toward social distancing to slow the spread of COVID-19, we must not go so far as social isolation. If you need assistance, please contact us. Take time to call, text, or email SAF members and friends.
  8. For the latest information regarding SAF's response to COVID-19, return to this page. In this time of national uncertainty, please know that Pastor Ben and the elders of the church are here to serve you.

Don't forget, God is still on His throne, and Jesus wins! God is our refuge and strength, and a very present help in time of trouble. Therefore, we will not fear. (Ps 46)
